Description of key information

Boiling point: not determined

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The requirement to conduct a boiling point study for the substance is waived because the substance decomposes without boiling. This statement is supported by a recent, reliable DSC test which demonstrates that the parent ATMP acid melt from about 178°C with decomposition.

In available secondary sources, boiling points value of >100°C were indications for the water removal. Evaporation of water followed by decomposition of the substance was reported. (Rhodia 2007, TNO Nutrition and Food Research).
