Phosphonate salts are highly water soluble and some are formulated as aqueous. Solutions containing up to 70 % active material. Free acids are less soluble than the salts; however, aqueous solutions in excess of l % active material can be prepared.

The result is considered to be reliable. A result of 1000000 mg/L is reported at 25°C using appropriate predictive method (US Environmental Protection Agency 2008) and is cited with Gledhill WE, Feijtel, TCJ (1992).

A water solubility value of 500 g/L is reported in a company MSDS (Rhodia 2007). For other secondary sources (TNO Nutrition and Food Research, Heidoph 1983, Solutia 2002), ATMP-H was reported to be miscible with water. The original references were not available for review and no further information is available. The reliability of those results is not assignable.
