Description of key information

The constituents of Patchouli, ext. do not contain chemical groups capable of dissociation.

Additional information

The substance does not contain chemical groups capable of dissociation and, according to Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, experimental investigation of this property is not required. An expert statement states that the test material consists of sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpene alcohols and that none of the constituents contain functional groups that are ionisable in the environmentally relevant pH range.
