Description of key information

Viscosity: 3.5 mPa s (dynamic), 3.7 mm²/s (kinematic viscosity) at 25°C (QSAR)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Viscosity values of 3.9 cSt and 4.2 CS are reported at 25°C and 20°C respectively in other secondary literatures (ABCR 1991, Mazzoni 1997). The original references were not available for review and no further information is available. The reliabilities of these results are not assignable and neither result is suitable for key study. Therefore, the viscosity was predicted using an appropriate QSAR method. Viscosity values of 3.5 mPa s (dynamic) and 3.7 mm²/s (kinematic viscosity) were found at 25 °C and this is selected as the key study (Reconsile 2009).
