The key value of flash point (62 ˚C) is determined by using ASTM D-93 method (Pensky Marten Closed Cup method) and the boiling point according to OECD 103 (DSC). This substance decomposes before boiling (Brekelmans M.J.C 2013). Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not predicted.

Based on the flash point (62 ˚C), this substance is not classified as flammable according to CLP Regulation 1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC.
