Additional information

A pka values of 9.6 and 6.9 indicate that the substance will predominantly exist as a cation in the environment and cations generally adsorb more strongly to solid soil components (e.g. clay) as their uncharged species. Therefore, the Koc and logKoc values calculated for the uncharged molecule were corrected by applying the equations of Franco & Trapp (2008) to consider pH-dependency of these values. The values obtained after correction were Koc= 210 and logKoc = 2.32.
