Description of key information

The melting point does not need to be conducted as the melting point is below -20C.

The pour point of the substance was found to be -68°C at atmosphere pressure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-68 °C

Additional information

The melting point does not need to be conducted as the melting point is below -20C.

The pour point of the substance was found to be -68°C at atmosphere pressure. There was no possibility to determine the fixed point because the test item congealed glassy. The pour point is the lowest temperature at which the test item barely flows.

This was supported by Hommel an authoritative handbook which reported the melting point of the substance to be -68 °C.
