Description of key information
According to notification of the substance under Directive 67/548/EEC (notification 86 -06 -0053 -00 given by UK authority), test was not conducted because of reactivity with water. Substance reacts with water to form insoluble titanium compounds and eventually titanium dioxide, alcohols and phosphates. Therefore, data can be waived.
As water solubility cannot be determined, as surrogate for hazard and risk assessment, solubility of Ethanol (fully miscible with water), 2-Propanol (fully miscible with water) and 1-butanol (solubility ca 66 g/L) are considered.
