Details on results:
n-Octanol solubility
After stirring for 72 hours, undissolved material was observed in the test sample. From this, it was concluded that the n-octanol solubility of E-C104 at 20°C was < 9.6 mg/l.

Water solubility
Water solubility of E-C104 is ≥ 403 g/l (flask method, see section 4.8 for more details).

Partition coefficient
The Pow, calculated as the quotient of the n-octanol- and water solubility, is < 2.4 x 10^-5. This value corresponds with a log Pow value of < - 4.6.
Conclusions:
The estimation method was applied for the determination of the partition coefficient (Pow) of E -C104. The Pow value of the test substance at neutral pH and 20°C was < 2.4 x 10^-5, which corresponds with a log Pow value of < -4.6.
