Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the short-term toxicity testing on terrestrial arthropods does not need to be conducted as direct or indirect exposure of the soil compartment with Acetoguanamine is unlikely. The substance is only used at industrial sites. Therefore an application to soil is not an identified use of the substance (CSR section 2.2) and in addition, an direct application of the substance to soil via sewage sludge does not exist. Furthermore due to its low log Kow (log Kow = - 0.88) the substance has a low adsorptive as well as a low bioaccumulative potential. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure of terrestial arthropods is not expected.
