Description of key information

In accordance with the specific rules for adaptation laid down in Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 testing on explosiveness may be omitted if, inter alia, there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. The structure of Acetoguanamine shows no chemical groups associated with explosive properties. This is supported by three tests which do not show any explosive property of Acetoguanamine.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to these findings Acetoguanamine is considered to be not an explosive and does not have to be classified.
