Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
EC50 > 0.9 mg/L (48h)
EC100 > 0.9 mg/L (48h)
NOEC = 0.78 mg/L (48h)
Due to its very low water solubility (see IUCLID section 4.8), the test substance is considered not to be toxic to aquatic invertebrates under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of the test substance to aquatic invertebrates has been determined in a test with Daphnia Magna according to EU Method C.2. The EC50 (48h) and the EC100 (48h) were > 0.9 mg/L, the NOEC = 0.78 mg/L (48h). Hence, it can be stated that there is no toxicity in the range of the low water solubility of the test substance. Therefore, the test substance is considered not to be harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
