Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Read-across (EC Number: 422-320-3), OECD Guideline 208, GLP, key study, validity 2:
A 26d- EC50 > 1000 mg/Kg dw, the highest treatment tested.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One key study on a read-across substance (EC Number: 422-320-3) according to the OECD Guideline 208 and GLP is available on the effects of the test substance on seedling emergence and dry shoot weight of three plant species: oat (Avena sativa), soybean (Glycine max) and tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). This supporting substance is considered adequate for read-across purposes (see Iuclid section 13 for justification).

Plants were exposed to the test substance during 26 days at nominal rates of 1000, 330, 110, 36, 12 and 3.9 mg/Kg dw.

No toxicity was observed for any species during this period.

The 26d- EC50 were greater than 1000 mg/Kg and the 26d-NOEC was determinated to be >= 1000 mg/Kg dw (the highest treatment tested).
