Description of key information
According to Annex IX, column 2, the bioaccumulation study need not be conducted if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (low Kow <=3). B-TEGME has a low potential for bioaccumulation due to its log Pow is << 3 and it is readily biodegradable.

B-TEGME has a low potential for bioaccumulation since its log Pow is << 3. Furthermore, the substance hydrolyzes, shows ready biodegradation and high water solubility. According to Annex IX, column 2, the bioaccumulation study need not be conducted if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (low Kow <=3).
