Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigated the toxicity of the test substance UAX-1179 (CAS: 351197-46-1) to freshwater fish (Bätscher, 2002). The study was performed according to the OECD Guideline 203. A limit test with a concentration of 100 mg/L was conducted with the zebra fish Brachydanio rerio for 96 h. The test substance was completely soluble in water. No precipitation was noticed. Neither any mortality nor any behavioural abnormalities were observed during the test. This resulted in a LC50 > 100 mg/L. Thus, it can be concluded that the test substance UAX-1179 is not toxic to freshwater fish up to and including a concentration of 100 mg/L under conditions tested.
