Based on available data from reliable handbooks, the chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien- 1-ylidene)-N- methylmethanaminium chloride was observed to be an odourless organic solid in the form of green powder.
Melting point / Freezing point
Thus the melting point of N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride observed in the range of 198-250 °C.
Boiling point
Based on prediction done using MPBPVP v1.43, the Boiling point of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene) -N-methylmethanaminium chloride was estimated to be 631.92 ˚C
Density
According to obtained results the bulk density and tap density of N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5- dien-1-ylidene)- N-methylmethanaminium chloride was determined as 0.471 g/cm³ and 0.684 g/cm³ respectively.
Particle size distribution (Granulometry)
The particle size distribution of N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was determined by granulometric analysis with rotap sieve shaker. The particle size distribution was determined to be in the range of 150 micron to 53 micron.
Vapour pressure
Based on available data from various reliable resources such as authoritative database, the vapour pressure of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino) phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was estimated to be 2.57E-12 Pa at 25 deg C.
Water solubility
Based on available data from authoritative database and handbook, the water solubility of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl] methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was observed to be 10000 mg/L.
Surface tension
The Surface Tension N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride (@1% Solution) was determined as 44.2 dyn/cm.

Based on the Calculation done using scientifically verified and validated formulas / equations ,the flash point of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino) phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was estimated to be 405.071 degree C.
Auto flammability
No auto Ignition observed for chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene) -N-methylmethanaminium chloride till 1900 degC though DTA indicated decomposition (max) at 183.640 degC. This indicates that the chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene} cyclohexa-2,5-dien- 1-ylidene)-N- methylmethanaminium chloride is not auto-flammable till 1900 degC.
Flammability
Thus it is observed from the experimental study, the Combustibility Index for the chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene} cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride at ambient temperature = 1 and at 100°C = 1.
Hence it can be concluded that the chemical N-(4-{bis[4- (dimethyl amino) phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene) -N-methylmethanaminium chloride was considered as non-flammable (does not ignite) for chemical safety assessment.
Explosiveness
The study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties.

According to first study the melting point of N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N- methylmethanaminium chloride was calculated according to OECD Guideline 102 by using capillary viscometer (static).
The substance N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride starts melting and swelling at 198°C, does not completely melt till 250°C. Softening and sticking to wall observed at ~205°C.
Thus the melting point of N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride observed in the range of 198-250 °C.
Other supporting studies from various reliable resources like authoritative database and handbooks, exhibited the melting point of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride as 215 ˚C which is in the range of selected key study.
Data from one more supporting study determined the melting point chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride in the range of 205-215 ˚C which is also in the range of selected key study.
Boiling point
Based on the prediction done using the EPI Suite MPVPBP V1.43, the Boiling point of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was predicted.
The boiling point of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was estimated to be 631.92 ˚C

Water solubility
Based on available data from authoritative database and handbook, the water solubility of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl] methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was observed to be 10000 mg/L.
Other supporting studies from authoritative databases and handbooks also determined the water solubility of chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl] methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride as 4000 mg/L at 25 degree C.
Data from handbooks, also suggested the test chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl] methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene) -N-methylmethanaminium chloride was soluble in water.
On the basis of above values, the chemical N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N- methylmethanaminium chloride was observed to be very soluble-soluble in water.
Surface tension
The Surface Tension N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride was determined by TSL -SOP-18 [Clariant Internal test method].
The Surface Tension N-(4-{bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)-N-methylmethanaminium chloride (@1% Solution) was determined as 44.2 dyn/cm.
Flash point
