The melting point determination of Test item tetrasodium 7 -amino-4 -hydroxy-3 -[(E)-2 -{2 -methoxy-5 -methyl-4 -[2 -(sulfonatooxy)ethanesulfonyl]phenyl}diazen-1 -yl]-8 -[(E)-2 -{2 -sulfonato-4 -[2 -(sulfonatooxy)ethanesulfonyl]phenyl}diazen-1 -yl]naphthalene-2 -sulfonate (CAS No. 503155 -49 -5 ) was done as per the test guideline OECD 102. The method followed was according to Capillary/metal block. The man decomposition temp was determine to be 161.3°C at 964.3 hPa.
