Conclusion on classification

The classification of the substance was evaluated based on available experimental data on the three trophic levels:


Fish: LC50 (96h) > 100 mg/l


Daphnia: EC50 (48 h) > 100 mg/l 


Algae: ErC50 (72 h) > 100 mg/l 


 


The substance is readily biodegradable, is very water soluble, has a LogPow < 4 and is not expected to bioaccumulate. Based on the acute toxicity results and the ready-biodegradability, the substance is not classified for aquatic toxicity as per the CLP Regulation EC No. 1272/2008.
