Additional information

The inorganic material gets converted in milliseconds initially to titanium oxychloride (92344-13-3) and then to titanium dioxide (CAS 13463-67-7) in presence of moisture in soil or pore air. Hydrogen chloride (CAS 7647-01-0) is formed in both steps and dissociates in the water to protons (CAS 12586-59-3) froming hydronium ions (CAS 13968-08-6) and chlorides (CAS16887-00-6). The inorganic transformation products are considered stable under environmental conditions. Thus no testing is required and waiving applies.
