Description of key information

The hazard assessment of test substance reveals that there is no need to classify the substance as a PBT or vPvB substance. The substance is readily biodegradable and has a low measured log Kow, this indicates that the substance will not be persistent or bioaccumulative. There are no effects observed in the long term earthworm test at the limit concentration of 1000 mg a.i. /kg dw. This strongly indicates that the substance is not hazardous to the terrestrial environment. The uptake via ingestion will due to this be limited. Finally, the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to investigate further
