Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In Annex IX of REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC), it is laid down that the choice of appropriate tests on soil organisms depends on the outcome of the chemical safety assessment. According to Annex I of this regulation, the chemical safety assessment triggers further action when the substance or the mixture meets the criteria for classification as dangerous according to Directive 67/548/EEC or Directive 1999/45/EC or is assessed to be a PBT or a vPvB.

The hazard assessment of test substance reveals the there is no need to classify the substance as a PBT or vPvB substance. The substance is readily biodegradable and has a very low measured log Kow, this indicates that the substance will not be persistent or bioaccumulative. There are no effects observed in the long term earthworm test at the limit concentration of 1000 mg a.i. /kg dw. This strongly indicates that the substance is not hazardous to the terrestrial environment. Therefore a toxicity study on soil microorganisms is waived.
