In accordance with REACH Guidance R.10 a PNEC does not need to be derived for substances in quantities from 10 t/y downwards.

Conclusion on classification

The substance is “readily biodegradable but failing the 10-day window” and the partition coefficient was determined to be -0.15. Therefore, the substance is not persistent and not bioaccumulative. Acute toxicity determined for three trophic levels was shown to be most critical with aquatic invertebrates (EC50 = 78.2 mg/L).

Based on the available information the substance is classified as follows:

- Not classified for environmetnal hazards according to directive 67/548/EEC (DSD/DPD).

- Not classified for environmental hazards according to EC 1272/2008 (CLP).
