Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance was determined according to DIN 38412. The acute toxicity to Leuciscus idus was determined in an aerated, static, 96-hour test. The test fish were observed after 1, 4, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours test duration for sublethal effects and mortality. The nominal concentrations were 0 (control), 1, 2.15, 4.64, 10.00, 21.50, 46.40 mg/L. No analytical determination of the concentrations of the test substance was done. Water quality parameters pH-value, temperature and oxygen-saturation, measured after 1, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h were determined to be within the acceptable Iimits. The 96-hour LC50 of the test substance was determined to be nominal greater than 10 mg/L and lower than 21.5 mg/L.
