Additional information

The peer-reviewed database HSDB presents an auto-ignition temperature of 400 °C for dimethylamine. As background the closed cup method is reported.

BASF AG measured the autoflammability of dimethylamine according to DIN 51794 with a result of 402 °C as auto-ignition temperature. This value is also cited in ESIS (2010).
