Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Studies on three trophic levels performed on a water accommodated fraction are available, all indicating an LC/EC50 above water solubility. The fish test (Harlan 2013b) is considered not valid due to high mortality in the controls. Fish treated at 100 mg/L (loading rate) did not show any mortality or abnormal behaviour and the absence of effects seems to confirm the outcome of the daphnia and algae tests.

For the test substance the daphnia study on a WAF indicated no toxicity at the level of quantification of the analytical method (0.054 mg/L) (harlan 2012e). For algae the NOEC was 0.12 mg/L based on measured concentrations (study performed with WAF, Harlan 2012f). The NOEC of the algae study will be used as starting point for the derivation of the PNECaqua.

A test on toxicity to microorganisms gave a NOEC of 1000 mg/L (Harlan 2013c).

Based on the outcome of the risk assessment a daphnia reproduction study is proposed.
