Additional information

The biodegradation of the test substance as assessed in a CO2 evolution test is 0% over the 28 day study period (Harlan 2012d). In view of the low water solubility no further degradation testing will be performed and the substance is considered to be persistent. The calculated logKow is ca. 11. No testing for bioaccumulation is warranted, as very high logKow values are indicative for a lack of accumulation. The calculated bioconcentration factor is 36.9. To assess the logKoc,a calculation with KOCWIN was not possible as the calculated logKow is outside the applicability domain of the QSAR. Therefore the risk assessment will be based on the maximum logKoc as derived in the EUSES program, 6.0.
