It is not possible to experimentally determine a definitive water solubility of UVCB substances. In order to provide sufficient information to conduct the hazard and risk assessments for REACH purposes, the water solubility of the test substance was estimated using critical micelle concentration data and computer estimation techniques. It can be concluded that the solubility of the test substance would fall into the category of “Slightly Soluble”, and for the purposes of Hazard and risk assessment , a surrogate value of 40 mg/L could be used.
It can be concluded
that the solubility of the Cluster 2 Polyaminoamides above would fall
into the category of “Slightly Soluble”, and for the purposes of Hazard
and risk assessment , a surrogate value of 40 mg/L will be used.
