Additional information

One long term test with Daphnia magnawas conducted with diethylene triamine. This test was deemed reliable and useful for risk assessment (Klimisch score = 2). In this test, D. magna were exposed to four concentrations of diethylene triamine ranging from 5.6 - 45 mg/L and control dilution water for 21 days in a static renewal test design. The pH of the test solutions was appropriately neutralized in this study. Survival and reproduction were significantly reduced at 11.3 mg/L of diethylene triamine, but were unaffected at 5.6 mg/L.
