Koc = 19,111 L/kg at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The organic carbon-normalized adsorption coefficient for diethylenetriamine was determined using batch equilibration experiments which incorporated six diverse soil types, ranging in organic carbon content from 0.24 to 3.9 % wt. The adsorption of the substance was not well-correlated with organic carbon content of the soil, but more suitably correlated with cation-exchange capacity of these soils. Nonetheless, an average Koc value was determined which was 19,111 ± 12,496 (mean ± 1 std. dev., n=6).
