A relative density of 1.0265 at 20°C was determined for the submission substance using the oscillating densitometer method in accordance with OECD test guideline 109. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.


 


The key result is supported by a predicted density of 1.01 g/cm3 at 20°C which was determined using a validated QSAR estimation method.


 


In available secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, density values of 1.03 g/cm3 at 20°C and 1.02 g/cm3 at 25°C were reported for the substance. The available results are in agreement that the density of the substance is above that of water (relative density of water = 1.000)
