Any other information on results incl. tables
Substrate degradation rate as revealed by first order kinetics: K=7.45x10-3/min;
Light intensity under the experimental conditions: I0 = 6.44 x 1016 h*v*mL-1min-1 for a optical path lenght of 1.0 cm.
During the photolysis of the chlorobenzaldehydes a strong pH-decrease was also observed, resulting from the formation of organic acids in addition to the Cl− ions.
