Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance registered is considered to be neither readily nor inherently biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

Two valid on ready and inherent biodegradability, respectively, were being conducted on the analogue substance. The analogue substance was investigated for its ready biodegradability and inherent biodegradability via OECD guideline-conform studies. The applicability of the read across approach had been confirmed by the registrant via an expert statement (see IUCLID chapter 13). In both studies the analogue substance was not biodegradable under the test conditions within 28 days. Based on the applicability of the proposed read across approach, the same biodegradation properties are likely to apply to the substance registered as well.
