The calibration showed that the cell volume was within acceptable limits. The test temperature was 20.2 oC. The sample cell volume was 38.0123 cm3.The expansion cell volume was 74.6354cm3.The weight of test substance measured was 9.6143g. The mean density was 1.3427(1342.7lg/m3),with a standard deviation (Sn-1) of 0.0011. The relative density (D204) is the ratio of the density of the test substance at a temperature of 20oC to the density of water at a temperature of 4oC (taken as 1.0000).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The relative density of Beta Ketosulfide was determined by a gas comparison pyknometer method. The procedure conformed to EC Directive 92/69/EEC Method A3 and OECD guideline 109.

The relative density (D204) of Beta Ketosulfide was determined by a gas comparison pyknometer method to be 1.343 (equivalent to a density of 1343kg/m3) with a standard deviation (Sn-1) of 0.0011.
