Description of key information

Additional information

The test substance is an organic clear colorless viscous liquid with boiling point of 267ºC. A clear freezing point could not be determined down to -37°C, however the test item was solid at the end of the experiment. The reported relative density is 1.387 and the vapour pressure is less than 8.4E-7 at 20ºC. The estimation of the partition coefficient by the HPLC method results in a log Pow of 0.9 at 25ºC. The test substance is moderately soluble at 564 mg/L. The surface tension is 65.2 mN/m at 20ºC. The test substance has a flash point of 161ºC, an auto-ignition temperature of 375ºC and a dynamic viscosity of 5766 mPa.s.

The test substance does not contain any ionizable functionality indicating that a dissociation constant study is not required. The test substance is neither flammable in contact with water or air, nor explosive. It doesn't possess oxidising properties.
