Description of key information
The boiling point is experimentally measured to be 131 °C.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
- 131 °C
Additional information
The boiling point is experimentally measured to be 131 °C. This conclusion is supported by the Petroleum Labs, Inc. measured initial boiling point of 131 °C and the Kobayashi, S. and Saegusa, T. reference value of 128 °C. Additionally, a value of 131 °C agrees with manufacturing experience.
The Zedi US Inc. study is disregarded. Values reported disagree with experience during manufacturing and use. Also, the value disagrees with secondary reference values and the subsequent re-testing of the material.
