Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The in vitro genotoxic potential of 2-aminoethanol in bacteria was investigated in two species: (1) Salmonella typhimurium TA1535, TA1537, TA1538, TA98 and TA100; and (2) Escherichia coli WP2 and WP2 uvrA. In both species, negative results were reported for 2-aminoethanol with and without activation.
