The freezing point of the test material was investigating using apparatus for the determination of freezing temperature according to method A1 as detailed in regulation 440/2008. The test substance was placed in jacketed glassware with cooling. During cooling the temperature was measured at regular intervals (every 0.5 mins). The freezing point would be recorded when the temperature remains constant for a number of readings, or crystals are observed in the sample. The temperature range of the equipment is -20°C - 150°C. No freezing point was detected for the test substance. The sample was then held at -21°C for approximately 24 hours. Flow restriction was observed, but no crystallisation. The freezing point of the test substance is <-20°C.
