Based on the available data, and the insolubility in water of the substance, there is no expected acute toxicity at levels up to the water solubility. In addition the substance is not readily biodegradeable. The Log KOW is >6.5. Therefore it is appropriate to classify Solvent Red 19T as Aquatic Chronic 4.
