PHOTODEGRADATION

DIRECT PHOTODEGRADTION

The registration substance does not absorb light >290 nm. Direct photolysis will therefore not occur under environmental conditions.

INDIRECT PHOTODEGRATION

Primary degradation by OH radical induced indirect photolysis may occur. The property estimation program US EPA AOPWIN estimates a Half-life of 4.6h for the registration substance.

HYDROLYSIS

In an OECD111 study the test item showed a moderate hydrolysis rate  (2.4 h ≤ t1/2 ≤ 30 d) for pH 4 and 7 at 20, 30 and 50 °C and for pH 9 at 20 and 30 °C. The test item showed a fast hydrolysis rate (t1/2 ≤ 2.4 h) at pH 9 at 50 °C.
