Additional information

No study investigating the abiotic hydrolysis of Reaction products resulting from esterification of sucrose with saturated C16-18 (even numbered) fatty acids is available. Based on available data for the structurally similar alcohol polyglycosides, such as D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides (CAS 110615-47-9), it is assumed that hydrolysis represents a negligible pathway for the environmental fate of sugar esters in the environment.
