Additional information

Studies assessing the aquatic toxicity of the test substance to fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae are available. All studies did not show any toxicity of the test substance up to the highest tested concentration (84.1 - 120 mg/L). Thus the substance is not considered to be harmful to aquatic organisms at short-term exposure. In addition, the respiration inhibition test with domestic activáted sludge did not result in any toxicity up to the highest test concentration of 841 mg a.i./L. Hence, detrimental effects in STPs are not to be expected. In conclusion, the available data show that the test substance is not harmful to aquatic organisms.
