Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The biodegradability of the target substance (TS) was assessed by read-across from a structural analogue (DV6850), which was tested in 2002 according to OECD 301B in a Klimisch 1 test. The test indicated that the test item is readily biodegradable and the TS is therefore not regarded as persistent in the environment.

The soil adsorption coefficient was assessed by read-across from a structural analogue (DV6850), determined by the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method as described in OECD Guideline 121 in a Klimisch 2 test conducted in 2003. The result (log Koc > 4.09) indicates that the substance is expected to adsorb strongly to the soil and sediment, with negligible to slow migration potential to groundwater.

The log Kow of the target substance was determined experimentally to be 0.8, indicating it has no tendency to bioaccumulate.

A read-across justification document has been prepared in compliance to ECHA’s RAAF (Read-Across Assessment Framework) and is attached in Section 13.
