Description of key information

The biodegradability of the read across substance (Source Substance 1) was assessed in a Klimisch 1 GLP study according OECD Procedure 301B and was found to be readily biodegradable. The structural similarity between the target substance and Source Substance 1 is discussed in the read-across justification document (prepared in compliance to ECHA’s Read-Across Assessment Framework) and is attached in Section 13 of the IUCLID dossier. The target substance is considered to be readily biodegradable and according to Column2 (specific rules for adaptation from Column 1) for section 9.2.1 of Standard Information Requirements Annex IX.
