Description of key information

Partition coefficient (log Kow) of the two major constituents fall in the range 0.58 to 6.9.

The registered substance is considered to have potential for bioaccumulation, based on the worst-case.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Considering the registered substance is a multi-constituent, the major one having very low solubility in water, experimental testing was not considered suitable or feasible. Therefore, a constituent-based approach was prefered.

For the major constituent, a valid QSAR model was available. The predicted value is log Kow = 6.9.

For the second constituent, a reliable literature data of 0.58 was identified.

No single key value was derived for the multi-constituent substance, result expressed as a range was prefered, having more scientific sense.
