One study was available for assessment of the endpoint Long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates.

The study was conducted in compliance with GLP and to the guideline OECD 211.
The 21-Day LC50 (immobilisation) value, based on percentage of WAF at 100 mg/L for the parental Daphnia generation was determined as 65%
The 21-Day EC50 (reproduction) value based on percentage of WAF at 100 mg/L was 56%
According to Water solubility (Butler & White, 2010/key) is the water solubility of DBTE 3.58 mg/L. From this value 10% of WAF are epuivalent to 0.36 mg/L. So it is concluded the NOEC is 0.36 mg DBTE /L
The NOEC (overall) based on percentage of WAF at 100 mg/L was 10 %, on the basis that this was the highest test concentration no noticeable difference from the control daphnia.
