Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
1.27 g/L
Temp.:
19.5 °C
pH:
7.9 - 8
Details on results:
An excess of test substance was stirred with double distilled water (in triplicate). The nominal concentrations were approximately 8 g/l. Duplicate
samples were taken from each water mixture after 24, 48 or 72 hours of stirring. The temperature of the climate room was 19.5 ± 0.5°C during the
performance of the test. The 24-, 48- and 72- hour measurements are in agreement. Therefore, the water solubility of Dihydrolinalool was calculated as the mean value of all measurements: 1.27 g/l.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): soluble (1000-10000 mg/L)
The water solubility of dihydrolinalool is 1.27 g/l at 19.5 degrees Celsius.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of dihydrolinalool was investigated according to OECD Guideline 105 under GLP. At 19.5 degrees Celsius and pH 8.0 the water solubility of Dihydrolinalool was found to be 1.27 g/l.
