Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

One experimental study according to OECD 301D indicated that the test substance is not readily biodegradable according to the OECD criteria (0% biodegradation after 28 d). The degradation via abiotic hydrolysis is not considered to be a relevant degradation pathway in the environment. Experimental date indicate a DT50 of > 1 yr (pH 7, 9 extrapolated to 25 °C from preliminary test; pH 4 at 20 °C from the main test). Considering the water solubility of 1600 mg/L and the low to moderate potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles (log Koc: 2.35 - 2.64, KOCWIN v2.00), the main compartment for environmental distribution is expected to be the surface water. Evaporation into air and the transport through the atmospheric compartment is not considered to be relevant based on the Henry’s Law Constant of 0.208 Pa m³/mole (HenryWin v3.20) and a vapour pressure of 8 Pa at 25 °C.
