Additional information

The melting point/range of the test substance was determined using the metal block method according to EEC Directive 67/548, Annex V, A1 as published in 84/449/EEC. The results were for tests 1 and 2 respectively; 244.5 -247.5ºC and 243.0 -248.0ºC. The test substance darkened and began to decompose slowly at 165°C- 170°C. The sample completely melted at 247.5°C- 248°C to produce a brown liquid which solidified, on cooling to give an opaque light-brown solid.
