Description of key information

The partition coefficient of the test substance was determined to be log P = 3.88 at 20ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
3.88
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) of the test substance was determined in accordance with EEC Directive 67/548 Annex V, A8 as published in 84/449/EEC. The report includes calibration data, the concentration of test substance in stock octanol solution, the concentration and total mass of test substance in aqueous and octanol after partition. The study reports calculation of partition coefficients, and the mass balance. All test substance used was accounted for.
