Description of key information

In a read-across approach using a similar substance, the half-life in water at different pH-values (containing acetonitrile for better solubility) was determined to be 6.1 hours at 23°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
6.1 h
at the temperature of:
23 °C

Additional information

For hydrolysis, data from a similar substance (HDI oligomers, uretdione) were taken as read-across. HDI oligomers, uretdione is formed from 2 HDI molecules and finally contains a central 4 -ring and two endstanding isocyanate groups. HDI oxadiazintrione is also formed from 2 HDI molecules and contains a central 6 -ring and two endstanding isocyanate groups.
